Who we're looking for
- You will have a minimum of 3 year's private practice experience or a minimum of 5 year's in-house experience. - You will need to have a full understanding of Trading Law regulation and ideally have a specialism in product liability, food safety, advertising/promotions, data protection and trading standards. - you will be expected to take responsibility for running your own files under the supervision of the Head of Regulation. - Expected to be actively involved in a supportive role in the business development of legal services to the Retail sector. This will include supporting the design and presentation of seminars, workshops and in-house training for clients and prospects as well as writing articles, press releases and updates. - You will work in a team environment, within the Regulatory Team , will attend team meetings and will report to the Head of Regulatory on case matters.

About our client
The Corporate Defence team based in Bristol consists of 4 lawyers. The team specialises in 3 main practice areas: Trading Law which includes principally, product liability, food safety, advertising/promotions, and trading standards. Safety, Health & Environmental which includes corporate manslaughter, fire, nuisance/noise, pollution, transport and inquiries. Finally, Financial Services Regulatory (based in our London office). They have an excellent reputation in both Chambers and the Legal 500.
