Audit Manager / Senior Manager - Life Assurance

The successful candidates will be responsible for the lead management of the audit of key Life Insurance clients. This will involve audit planning, day to day management of field teams including review of audit work, liaison with key client staff and the management of the reporting process. You will report to a Director or Partner.

You will also have the opportunity to provide a range of advisory services to Life Insurance companies, specifically in supporting significant Solvency II consulting projects.

Further responsibilities include:

- Development and coaching of junior members of staff
- Ensuring completion of audits/advisory projects within agreed timescales
- Budgeting time allocation to assignments and explaining variances from budget
- Participation in due diligence or other transaction support engagements
- Drafting accounts in accordance with UK GAAP/IFRS
This is an exciting opportunity to work in the fast growing FS Advisory Life Assurance team based in Leeds.

Who we're looking for
• ACA's with at least two years post qualification experience (preferably first time passes).
• Experience in financial services is essential, and preferably in the life assurance sector
• Impressive analytical capabilities
• Highly motivated and committed
• Positive and ambitious attitude
• Up to date on current economic and market trends
• Ability to develop strong client relationships
• Highly proficient in written and oral communication
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Project management capabilities
• Aptitude / familiarity with MS Word, Excel and Project
