Reporting to the Senior Internal Audit Manager, this position is responsible for undertaking independent appraisals on the management of risk and reporting on the adequacy and effectiveness of the systems of controls in place.

Who we're looking for
Suitable candidates will have the following background:

• a good understanding of the professional practice of internal audit including risk based audit techniques
• relevant experience in internal, external audit or related regulatory role
• an analytical approach to interpretation of legislation
• problem solving skills with an ability to be innovative in approach
• good personal organisational and planning skills and strong communication and influencing skills
• a general awareness of insurance industry and products and experience in Financial Services desirable
• a professional qualification or working towards appropriate industry related qualification, such as ACA/ACCA/MIIA /CISA/QICA/ACII/ACIB/AFPC.
