This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious VAT expert to take their career to the next level. The role is a Directorship which has genuine Partnership potential and will suit an experienced Senior Manager or Associate Director who is keen to progress further up the career ladder.

The role:
• Director of Indirect Tax / VAT
• Developing the Manchester VAT Practice
• Liaison with current Tax department to develop new VAT client base
• Networking and developing new client contacts
• Provision of VAT advice to clients across various industry sectors - manufacturing, financial services, public sector
• Recruitment and development of team of staff

Who we're looking for
• Indirect Taxation Expertise gained in a consulting environment (Big 4 or similar)
• Previous experienced gained in HMRC would be helpful
• Currently Senior Manager or Associate Director Level
• Ability to generate new business through relationships and networking
• Existing network of contacts throughout the North West
• Knowledge of various industry sectors - manufacturing, energy, financial services, public sector would be ideal
• Ability to negotiate at all levels and develop long term business deals
