As an Accountant for my client's successful business in the Channel Islands you will have the opportunity to join a small team with a proven track record of success. In addition, you will be responsible for taking control of the accounting functions UK and Jersey based Private Equity client. This role will offer the opportunity to liaise with clients, auditors , investment advisers, regulators and planning the accounting demands for management accounts, quarterly reports, statutory financial statements and other ad- hoc financial information.
In addition, key accountabilities include:
- Liaising with clients to agree a timetable for their accounting requirements.
- Ad hoc regular reporting to the Board.
- Preparation and completion of annual statutory financial statements.
- Monitoring completion of accounts files to ensure timely sign- offs are cleared and completed.
- Structuring and set up of new client ledgers within the system.
- Personal development through training to ensure Private Equity Fund knowledge.
- Developing and growing a client portfolio.

Who we're looking for
Applications are invited from candidates genuinely committed to relocating to Jersey.
The successful Accountant will:
- Hold a professional qualification ( ACA, ACCA).
- Excellent knowledge of IFRS/ UK GAAP.
- A proven track record within and Audit environment OR have had exposure to Private Equity accounting.
