Michael Page Finance – Scotland market update

With ever smaller budgets many companies are finding themselves under increasing pressure to find a much higher quality of candidate as vacancies arise. There is a demand for strong experience and positive personal attributes, but employers are also taking more and more care with regards to the value alignment of potential employees, in order to promote a longer career and happier work life for all.

Without spending time and money reaching interview stage it can be very difficult to identify those who will best match the role and the company itself. A hugely valuable part of the service we provide is the ability to pre-screen and recognise candidates who would be of great interest to our clients. Over the past year the team at Michael Page Finance have successfully met the needs of clients in areas such as Invergordon, Inverness, the Western Isles and Dundee. Clients in these areas share with us that their main concerns are finding candidates of a high standard who are also willing to work in slightly more remote areas.

As such, we have expanded our Aberdeen based finance team in order to continue assisting clients and candidates effectively. The team will be increasing their presence and focusing on locations including the Highlands and Islands, Perth, Dundee, Inverness and the surrounding areas. Specialising in recruiting qualified finance professionals this consultant will be travelling in and around the areas, extending the talent network Michael Page has already established.
