Barclays provides you with a variety of different ways you can contribute to your community at work or at home. Whether it's through charity or volunteer work, Barclays clubs and societies give you a chance to make a real difference.
Our Employee Networks (Cultural Diversity for employees from ethnic minorities, Pos+Ability for colleagues with disabilities, and Spectrum for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender employees) give all of our employees the opportunity to explore their interests and develop their understanding of diversity issues.
If you've got a good idea to help your local community but can't get the finance to see it through, we may be able to help with a grant of up to £500. Or, if you raise money for charity by yourself, we will match the value raised by a maximum of £750, up to three times per year.
We will also take any donations to charity from your pre-tax pay, increasing the value of your contributions, and then match your donation from a special fund of £500,000.
And, if you've ever wanted to volunteer, we will give you up to two days a year paid leave to do work for a charity or your local community. So, working for Barclays can benefit a lot more people than you'd imagine.
