Case Study
A recently acquired UK subsidiary of a US Manufacturing company contacted us to recruit a Managing Director to replace the retiring incumbent. The brief was to source an individual who could help turn the business around delivering growth of 300% over a five year period via a substantial review of systems and processes and introduction and execution of a new sales strategy. Having met with all the key stakeholders to understand the needs of the business as well as the cultural aspects, we put together a full job specification and advised a combination of targeted search and advertising in the Daily Telegraph to ensure delivery of the strongest shortlist. Having received interest from in excess of 150 candidates, a shortlist of six candidates was delivered to the client. Of those interviewed, our client said they would feel very comfortable hiring three of them and selected the strongest person fit of the three.
A further candidate from the shortlist actually ended up carrying out some consultancy work for the business.
