Michael Page Executive Search was retained by one of the world’s leading payment processing companies to recruit a European Head of Commercial Development. The brief was to identify an Executive from the Banking Technology Sector who would assume responsibility for shaping and directing their European client development strategy.
In order to broaden the initial candidate population, a highly targeted European search and advertised selection programme was utilised, designed to attract candidates from particular competitors and the broader banking technology industry. A qualified shortlist of six candidates was presented five weeks after initiation. Our client was able to appoint one of the leading experts in the industry, as well as offering a second candidate on the shortlist a position in the European organisation.
