Experience

Simon entered recruitment for Michael Page in 1996. His career started in the London operation where he concentrated on recruiting finance professionals for companies within Central and South London. He went onto manage several successful teams before re-locating to take over the Michael Page East Midlands operation in 2003. His main focus was to expand the operations in the regions and instigate the Michael page Executive Search business in the Midlands.

Throughout his career Simon has gained extensive experience of recruiting Senior Finance and Accountancy personnel. He has also gained experience across many other market sectors and business functions including General Management, Sales, Marketing and Finance.

He is also responsible for our Property and Construction practice in the regions, having worked with many of the industries major companies at senior and executive levels.

Education

Simon is a graduate (History and Geography) and qualified teacher, qualifying at the University of Bristol and then embarking on a teaching career in Birmingham, before entering recruitment.
