Auditing is in itself a learning process. We observe, question and analyse every part of the business. Many of our auditors have moved into exciting roles across BP, such as Finance, Safety & Operations, Compliance, Biofuels, Integrated Supply & Trading, Project Management, Refining, Supply, Strategy & Planning, Security, Engineering and Commercial Development.

Internal Audit represents a great opportunity to get to know BP’s operations and broaden your skills before taking on a different role in the organisation.

Our resourcing model comprises a mixture of rotational staff and experienced auditors, and this provides our people with great flexibility, renewal and career development opportunities.

A clear and comprehensive induction is an immediate priority. As you progress you will discover more about BP, the scope of our operations and our system of internal control. From then on you will develop and learn continually. You will be given personal development planning, which will enable you to focus on the technical and professional competencies you require, during a certain number of guaranteed training days each year.
