As well as helping attract new talent and improving employee engagement, embracing diversity and inclusion (D&I) in the workplace has proven to have commercial benefits through better alignment with clients, a broader customer base, increased productivity and improved services and products.
The Professional and Business Services Council (PBSC) have developed a guide to help companies take steps to improve D&I in their workplaces.
The PBSC is a forum for partnership between the government and industry within the professional and business services sector. The Council is currently co-chaired by Sir Michael Snyder, Senior Partner of Kingston Smith LLP and Baroness Neville-Rolfe, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Intellectual Property at the Department for Business Innovation and Skills (BIS).
The guide provides key areas of focus for implementing, managing and monitoring D&I initiatives including tips, best practice examples and a handy checklist.
