Given the change in headcount, public sector recruitment got off to a reasonable start this year, particularly for fixed term contracts. We’ve experienced an increase in organisations partnering with recruiters for temporary recruitment in this area, as opposed to the permanent side.
A large volume of placements and roles are coming from charities, membership bodies and regulators, where we are building a relevant candidate pool.
Looking ahead, we predict even more new developments for recruitment in the regulators and associations spaces, but we’re experiencing a lack of good candidates in this area so sourcing new talent will be a continued focus for us.
