retailTRUST celebration 2016

Michael Page Retail and Fashion were delighted to attend last week’s annual retailTRUST Celebration. The evening was a wonderful celebration of all things retail and raised some serious money to support all of the amazing things retailTRUST does. Our guests, including representatives from Morrisons, Paddy Power, Ted Baker, Boots, Carpet Right and Kelly Delli enjoyed a sumptuous three course dinner and music from Revelation Avenue and DJ Benny Blanco. The grand auction saw over £1 million raised which will go to improving the wellbeing of all involved in retail.
retailTRUST does some really amazing work to support all involved in retail and related industries through individual help and support, career development and mentoring, financial support and supported living. While retail offers unparalleled opportunities for people from diverse backgrounds, it has many people working on or close to the national minimum wage, which currently stands at £6.50p/h for workers aged 21 and over. These individuals are particularly vulnerable to changes in the market and retailTRUST has services in place to make sure that there is support and assistance for those who need it.
As a recruitment service we recognise that we have a responsibility to both our clients and candidates and the work that retailTRUST does resonates strongly. For more about the celebration, visit the retailTRUST website
