The role of Buying Manager - Snacking involves overseeing the procurement and category management of snacking products within the retail sector. The successful candidate will focus on driving sales, managing supplier relationships, and enhancing the product offering.

The Buyer will be responsible to plan, project and identify the requirements of the products, purchasing the required quantities which meets customer needs thereby maximizing profits and providing a commercially viable range of products

• Cost Price Negotiations: Conduct intense and strategic cost price negotiations with suppliers to secure the best possible deals while maintaining product quality.

• Product Sourcing: Identify and source high-value clearance products from UK and European traders, wholesalers, and other suppliers to meet business requirements

This is a senior National / Key Account Manager role, not a sales leadership position. You'll be responsible for managing and growing strategic regional and national accounts, with a strong emphasis on national Builders merchants, buying groups and commercial negotiation
