First impressions

On the day of the interview make sure you dress smartly, wear a formal suit and tie, and arrive early. Being an effective sales person is about connecting positively with people so be aware of the impression you make from the moment you step on site.
When you meet your interviewer try to make a strong first impression; shake hands firmly and make eye contact. Be positive but also be yourself; enthusiasm and optimism are key traits in a sales professional but don’t act out of character or you could end up in job that won’t suit you. Don’t forget to bring a pen and pad with you to take notes.
