Legal & General's aim is seeking out and investing in innovation across the business and continuously reviewing our products and the services we offer across insurance, savings, retirement and investment management.
As part of this ongoing ambition and commitment we are embarking on an ambitious IT transformation programme, IT2020.
Joining L&G as part of the IT2020 vision you'll work with our Business Divisions and Strategic Partners to transform how we consume, deliver and develop our technology and address the challenges we currently face which will ensure:
- All the moving parts of the IT community synchronised to help the business move faster
- User experience – people's day-to-day experience of our IT service is digital
- Infrastructure is delivered as fast as we need and is as secure and resilient as we want
Our approach to implementing the strategic vision above has been to define four 2020 Programme workstreams:
Delivering a transformed user experience for our people.
Building the in-house capability that will enable us to manage multiple suppliers well and with the tools to deliver greater control and ongoing service improvements.
Hosting (Data Centre and Cloud)
Delivering radically improved agility and flexibility enabling agile delivery.
Driving the development and implementation of new ways of working and building the right IT capability to serve Legal & General today and tomorrow.
