Accommodation Manager - Student Accommodation
The Accommodation Office is responsible for the planning and implementation of room occupancy for University owned student residences, and ensuring an excellent student / user experience and service at all touch points between the AO and students.
The Accommodation Manager is responsible for the efficient running of university accommodation so that it meets the needs of students, visitors and guests. This includes ensuring standards of cleanliness and maintenance are upheld, budgets are controlled and any problems are quickly rectified. The Accommodation Manager leads all day-to-day management / operations, and is accountable for the success and performance of the Department, and all aspects of customer care and relations.
The University not only expects its financial targets to be met, but also that the Department providesd and incredible student residential experience at all stages of the student journey
The Successful Applicant
A background in HE and student accommodation preferred.
Knowledge and experience of IT systems and databases, and ability to undertake data analysis.
Financial planning and budget management skills.
Leadership / management - assuming accountability for all aspects of the department, and uses appropriate interpersonal styles to lead, motivate and get the best from others
