Job Description

  • Directly responsible for the daily account management of the customer
  • Ensure high levels of account retention as well as developing new revenue streams
  • Manage accurate invoicing and effective query resolution
  • Operate and manage contract terms in an accurate and complaint way, retaining signed electronic copies
  • Assist the commercial team with client with contract renewals, bids & tenders as well as suggesting innovative ways to retain and win business
  • Open new accounts, following credit checking and onboarding procedures
  • Identify, allocate and prioritise VIP customers and own the process to ensure optimum service level
  • Handle financial transactions
  • Process customer feedback efficiently and professionally resolving any issues and escalate as necessary in line with issue resolution process
  • Operate with a continuous improvement mentality to constantly review and improve service provision
  • Focus on a sales through service mode of working
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to suggest ideas and campaigns to increase customer revenues and develop new customers.

The Successful Applicant

  • Demonstrate a strong track record in high quality customer service delivery
  • Proven experience of managing accounts/ key account customers
  • Commercially astute and used to delivering financial and KPI targets
  • Evidence a genuine passion for delivering customer satisfaction
  • Experience of delivering customer retention and growth through structured account management methodology
  • Ability to develop relationships with key customer contacts both over the phone and face to face
  • Strong listening, influencing, negotiation and communication skills
