Job Description

Account Manager - Home based

Act as the primary customer contact, addressing all commercial, business, and technical issues for assigned accounts.

Establish and maintain regular contact with key influencers within customer organisations to support market intelligence.

Foster frequent customer interactions to enhance market knowledge, customer focus, and overall experience.

Collaborate with the technical service team to resolve any technical issues.

Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely follow-up on client requests.

Generate and maintain accurate forecasts for accounts, reporting regularly.

Develop and implement action and account plans to achieve sales targets.

Drive the development and execution of sales and marketing strategies.

Monitor regional competitor activities to recommend necessary tactical actions.

Business Development

Identify growth opportunities, critical success factors, and key decision makers, driving these to closure through proactive management.

Conduct basic product portfolio introductions related to specific applications.

Identify sales channel opportunities to support the commercialisation of new products.

Translate new application and product ideas into actionable commercial plans.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Account Manager should:Represent Company in a professional manner at all times.

Demonstrate the ability to grow with the company.

Chemical knowledge background either lab based or in a commercial role

Manage both external and internal expectations effectively.

Produce activity and visit reports as required.

Handle a higher volume of accounts, driving technical-oriented performance additives opportunities for smaller accounts, sorting leads, and forwarding larger leads to Key Account Managers and smaller leads to company distributors.
