This is a role for an FMCG Sales/Account Manager who can manage and grow key relationships aswel as forge new ones - you'll need to enjoy the thrill of new business.The business lead for hardware customers - hardware/DIY stores (nationals & independents) and relevant buying groups, distributors, wholesalers

Job Description

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and implement strategies to achieve them.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform account strategies.
  • Manage account budgets and provide accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximise profitability.
  • Drive strategy, becoming a leadership figure within the sales team and eventually the wider business



The Successful Applicant

A successful Account Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in a relevant FMCG Sales role
  • Background working with hardware/DIY customers, but will also consider relatable customers - garden centres, building merchants etc.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • A results-driven mindset with the ability to meet and exceed targets.
  • A professional and client-focused approach.
