Job Description

The Aftermarket Contracts Manager

The Aftermarket Contracts Manager is responsible for overseeing aftermarket services implementation, which encompass Extended Warranty and Service Contracts, catering to our Global Distributor network and Subsidiaries. The role involves a focus on Planned Maintenance, Extended Warranty, and Repair and Maintenance Programs within the aftermarket contract business.

Key responsibilities of this role include the management of our Dealer network, involving regular engagement to guide and motivate key decision-makers. A comprehensive understanding of extended warranties, maintenance contracts, and a firm grasp of the competitive landscape in sectors such as agriculture, construction, and industrial settings is essential.

The Successful Applicant

Our ideal candidate will possess experience in developing and leading customer support strategies through a dealer distribution network. They should enjoy engaging with customers and dealers, building relationships, and facilitating effective communication.

Collaboration with various departments within our organisation is vital, and as such, strong communication skills are crucial. The successful candidate should be proficient at simplifying technical information, emphasising the value of our packaged services in shaping the future of our business. Being an attentive listener, capable of identifying and addressing customer needs and concerns, is key to driving future product development.

While a Engineering degree or a similar qualification is preferred, it is not essential. Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets, a high level of commercial acumen, and strong interpersonal skills, encompassing both written and verbal communication, are important qualities for this role.

Maintaining peer and business relationships with a high degree of integrity and trust is expected, as is the flexibility to travel as required. Field experience, particularly working with dealers and distributors, is highly beneficial, with a preference for individuals who have previously worked with construction or agricultural equipment manufacturers or capital equipment. (or where an extended warranty is applicable).
