About Our Client

My Financial Services client is a global bank, situated in the heart of London who are looking for an AI/ML Engineer to join their team and work alongside developers as well as engage with senior stakeholders throughout the business.

Job Description

Your key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

  • Developing advanced machine learning algorithms and statistical models
  • Applying data mining techniques and conducting statistical analysis
  • Implementing new machine learning models into production.
  • Collaborating with the analytics team to design and implement models
  • Leveraging data to discover tasks that can be automated
  • Working closely with the IT team to integrate ML algorithms into the existing infrastructure
  • Presenting results to the management and making recommendations based on findings
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest AI/ML trends in the financial services industry

The Successful Applicant

A successful AI/ML Engineer will have:

  • A strong educational background in Computer Science, Data Science, or a similar field
  • Proficient knowledge in AI/ML algorithms and their real-world advantages/drawbacks
  • Strong skills in programming languages such as Python
  • Experience in implementing machine learning models into production
  • Knowledge of data management and data cleaning techniques
  • Experience with Natural Language Processing and LLMs, deep learning, experimental design and A/B testing, recommender systems or other deployed data products

What's on Offer

On offer for a successful AI/ML Engineer is the ability to earn up to £750 per day Inside IR35 (negotiable) for an initial 6 month contract with the strong possibility of an extension while working in a hybrid policy of 4 days per week on-site in London.
