My client is a leading provider of business services, including offering bespoke software solutions to a variety of clients across the UK. Due to their ongoing success and expansion, they require a strong Application Support Manager to join their Bristol team.

Job Description

The Successful Application Support Manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing ongoing operational processes
  • The creation of testing frameworks to automate regression testing and manage new functionalities
  • Testing each release before delivery to clients
  • Handling support requests and working with team, clients and development to resolve them
  • promptly
  • Working closely with the Business Analyst team to ensure new requirements are managed in line with the overall development plan
  • Continuous improvement of processes and automation projects

The Successful Applicant

The Successful Application Support Manager will possess:

  • Test Automation experience
  • Prior testing and managing test cycles experience (essential)
  • Experience of developing Test Cases
  • High level of drive with ability to motivate teams
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of curiosity
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and scripting
  • Experience of ITIL, ideally
