Job Description

The key responsibilities of the Asset Manager (Housing) role include:

  • Producing and managing annual stock condition survey programmes and support the asset team in capturing, reporting and uploading of stock condition data.
  • Ensuring tasks and jobs required as a result of the stock condition surveys or on reports from the business are raised
  • Maintaining the asset management systems, ensure they are regularly updated with reliable and appropriate information, and reporting on the Decent Homes information including HHSRS and ensuring all stock transfer data is collected and updated on the asset management systems
  • Managing Building Information Modelling
  • Produce up to date reports to contract managers on programme

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate for the Asset Manager (Housing) role will:

  • Have a good working knowledge of building pathology, repairs, and maintenance process within social housing, and a good knowledge of rented and leasehold property maintenance including section 20 procedures
  • Excellent ICT skills, competent with word packages including Excel and comfortable using mobile devices, and the ability to analyse and evaluate data
  • Hold relevant qualifications
  • Be easily commutable to Kent and surrounding areas on a daily basis
