Assistant Accountant

The Assistant Accountant's responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Support the reconciliation of accounts, including bank and supplier statements.
• Process invoices, payments, and expense claims with accuracy and timeliness.
• Help maintain the general ledger by posting journal entries and resolving discrepancies.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Assist with financial audits by preparing documentation and responding to queries.
• Provide support for budgeting and forecasting activities as required.
• Contribute to process improvements within the accounting and finance department.
