Job Description

As a Communications Specialist you will work across Marketing, PR, Social Media and work with a broad range of stakeholders

As a Communications specialist you will work across a broad range of projects.

  • Involved in implementing communications programmes with complex themes
  • Development and editing of digital and multimedia content for different channels and audiences including case studies, presentations, reports, press releases and newsletters
  • Project manage complex programmes including planning, stakeholder engagement, reporting on progress and evaluation



You will have a background ideally in NHS, Education or Public Sector.

The Successful Applicant

  • A proven track record of working in a communications role
  • Educated to degree level (Communication, Marketing or PR related or able to demonstrate equivalent work experience)
  • Digital media skills, including an ability to use a content management system and manage social media content.
  • Able to communicate with a variety of people and build effective relationships with key stakeholders
  • Have worked across marketing, communications, PR or journalism and have experience dealing with press and media
  • Previous produced communications plans and delivered to both online and offline channels. You must have strong copy writing ability
  • You previously developed, edited multi-media content channels and audiences including case studies, presentations, reports, press releases, webinars, and newsletters
  • Experience of working in a large and complex organisation
  • Desirable if you have Implementation and execution of paid digital and social media campaigns. Writing for the web demonstrating a practical understanding of SEO
  • Able to generate creative campaigns and contribute to health matters
