Job Description

  • Assist in preparing and analysing monthly management accounts.
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheets and bank accounts.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Process invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable tasks.
  • Prepare financial reports and summaries for senior management.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial data.
  • Identify and assist with process improvement opportunities.
  • Provide general support to the accounting and finance team as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:

  • A strong background in accounting and finance, preferably within the retail industry.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and tools.
  • Good understanding of management accounting principles and practices.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and meet deadlines.
