About Our Client
Our client are a regulated manufacturing and distribution company based in the Northampton area. They are going through a period of growth and development and are currently looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Officer to join their team.
Job Description
Roles and responsibilities will include:
- Providing comprehensive assistance to the Quality Manager to ensure the efficient management and continued improvement of the company Quality Management System (QMS).
- Developing skills in order to take control of quality processes within agreed time scales.
- Contributing to ensuring the continued certification of ISO standards.
- Ensuring processes are implemented to limit non-conformance's.
- Assuming responsibility for complaint investigation assigned to identify root causes and identify areas for improvement.
- Supporting the Quality team with projects and general administrative assignments.
- Promoting Quality, Quality Management Systems and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) awareness at all levels of the business.
- Carrying out internal and external audits.
- Assisting with the creation of SOPs and work instructions for all departments.
- Carrying out Quality Control inspections and checking samples coming into Head Office.
- Timely investigation of customer complaints and ensure deliverables within specified time frame.
- Timely investigation of Non-conformance and CAPA issues and reporting.
The Successful Applicant
Applicants should be:
- Experienced in Quality Assurance.
- A working knowledge of ISO standards.
- Experienced in conducting audits and producing comprehensive audit reports.
- Coming from a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Possessing exceptional communication skills (both oral and written) with exemplary attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge and practical experience of using QMS software, is desirable.
- Have the ability to logically question, research, analyse and resolve problems.
- Knowledge and practical experience with analytical/statistical techniques.
- Be assertive and able to take charge of a situation where appropriate with the ability to motivate and influence others.
- Able to manage multiple projects continuously.
- Methodical, able to work to deadlines, and work under pressure whilst remaining focused and professional.

- Salary £35,000 - £45,000.
