About Our Client

I am currently working with a Private Equity firm who are looking for an Associate Director to join their Technology Projects team during an exciting time of growth.

Job Description

As the Associate Director you will:

  • Responsible for the business platform and usage once handed over from implementation
  • Understand and represent business requirements and needs in roadmap discussions
  • Ensure compliance from the business to use the system in accordance with policy and procedures
  • Build relationships with the business to ensure issues within the platform are resolved with IT and Change effectively
  • Build effective relationships with IT and change to drive forward the COPs evolution and functionality
  • Own business procedures once handed over from project team and work with the client facing and operations team to delegate tasks accordingly
  • Embed required controls within COPs by working with the controls team
  • Build relationships with all locations to ensure the platform is being used holistically and consistently across the group
  • Own the communication RoadMap to the business for future development
  • Be a positive contributor to wider business platform team in Client Operations
  • Coordinate testing resource for upgrades for platform from business
  • Cross train to ensure no key man dependency
  • Understand wider operational roadmap and contribute to how COPs can support this
  • Take responsibility for own personal development, in line with agreed annual performance objectives
  • To act at all times in accordance with the company's values

The Successful Applicant

As the successful candidate you will:

  • PRINCE2 Project Management qualification or similar
  • Relevant industry experience
  • Platform ownership experience
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry
  • Understand Investor Portals
  • Understand workflows and control
  • Understand data relationships
  • Strong commitment to client service excellence
  • Good stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to deal with conflict and resolve issues
