A leading provider of high-value research, analytics, and business intelligence to over 400 financial institutions and consulting companies (largely investment banks).

Job Description

You will work closely with the Product Development teams, Marketing, Sales and Commercial teams to deliver commercial value and client satisfaction from the launch and management of digital products. The role is broad covering go-to-market strategy, pricing strategy, client success management, commercial management and client success stories and it will have a high degree of autonomy to shape and own its agenda.

Go to market strategy

· For major product releases define go-to-market (GTM) strategy and brief high level requirements to Marketing so they can decide the marketing strategy and execute activity e.g. proposition, competitive positioning, product branding and naming, pricing, owned (e.g. website, social, video) / earned (e.g. press releases) / paid (e.g. search, display) media approach, client events

Pricing strategy

· Develop SaaS pricing strategy and be the subject matter expert

· Understand competitor pricing and ensure we are correctly positioned in terms of perceived client value vs price

Client success management

· ECM strategy and delivery e.g. pre-launch product training of end users and sharing of demos, early months' on product adoption, telemetry tracking

· Ongoing client success management - develop and execute approach including product technical support model

· User adoption and customer satisfaction measurement

Commercial performance

· Track performance of operational objectives e.g. number of users, frequency of use and put in place corrective action plans as required

Sales team business partnering

· Manage messaging about product development milestones (features, timing) to build confidence and awareness in sales team about digital products

· Support sales in developing pipeline of clients for MVP testing (e.g. early adopter clients) and later releases of products (e.g. early and late majority clients)

· Sales support materials e.g. pricing sheets, product literature, pitch slides

· Product demo - be subject matter experts who can support Sales in doing product demos with prospective and existing clients

The Successful Applicant

Experienced in

· Go-to-market product strategy and execution globally (particular focus on North America, Europe and Asia)

· Partnering with B2B sales teams to take new products to market

· Working with product development teams that use an Agile methodology

· Pricing strategy, ideally within Software as a Service (SaaS) businesses

· Client success management once products are launched

· Owning the commercial success of products post launch

· Financial services, ideally in the B2B, investment banking and commercial lending sectors
