Job Description

Reporting to Business Advisory Partners and Directors- The role will focused within the Audit team and will 100% dedicated to this.

- Handling a portfolio of circa £500-700k worth of client fees

- Audits will be varied across all sectors. Coverage within media, hospitality, professional services, financial services and fast growing pioneering businesses.

- Auditing many UK subsidiaries of foreign companies.

- Act as the main client contact and lead and manage your team, reporting to a director/partner.

- Supervise, train and appraise your team, including staff appraisals with constructive feedback.

- Take an active role in the continuous enhancement of our firm's audit practices.

- Be respectful of compliance and familiar with the laws and regulations that apply to accounting and audit.

- Be comfortable working in a client-facing environment, show willingness to work as part of a team and an ability to manage workload to meet deadlines.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Audit Manager for this role will ideally have at least 1+ years of managerial experience handling a portfolio of mixed sectors. There is room for progression for the candidate to obtain RI status and progress in this role.- Qualified ACA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent

- Minimum 36 months' post qualified experience in Audit and Assurance within an accountancy practice

- Excellent technical skills in audit handling a 100% audit portfolio

- Be an ambitious, diligent worker who enjoys working as part of and leading a team

- Must have an existing management portfolio

- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and CaseWare

- Foreign language skills are desirable
