Job Description
Joining as an Audit Manager you will report directly to Partners and will be responsible for managing, controlling and conducting the audit fieldwork for a diverse range of clients from up to £70 million turnover, across large groups, subsidiaries of overseas operations, OMBs, charities and other clients, developing strong relationships clients, and helping to win new clients for the firm . Clients are varied across a wide spectrum of industries to include manufacturing, property, construction, tourism, leisure, charities and others. You will also manage and develop junior members of the team. You will play a key role for a Partner in developing the department, together with proposals for new work and have involvement in networking with the business communities across the region. Given the scope of the role and positive developments within the firm, with ongoing growth, there are excellent prospects for short/medium and longer term career progression for career focused individuals, looking to develop and progress their accountancy practice careers within a Somerset based firm of chartered accountants.
The Successful Applicant
You will be a qualified ACA or ACCA Audit Manager, with a background in practice, currently based in Somerset, Bristol etc or looking to relocate to the region and seeking a role providing development potential and progression opportunities. You will have anything from up to 2 - 5 years or more post qualified practice experience in audit across a range of industries and turnovers and a career background within any of a Top Tier, Top Tier, medium/large independent or smaller firm environment.
