Job Description

The Key Responsibilities of the Bid Manager include:

Developing a proposal plan and managing the deliverables of all aspects of the proposal to that plan. This includes but is not limited to the below:
Collaborating and managing members of the Technical Advisory (and Operations where necessary) to prepare bid content based on customer requirements
Collaborating with the Contracts Manager and engaging with financial and legal teams for support
Collaborating with the PCM and Technical Advisory Teams on the delivery model
Collating written bid content into high quality tenders
Collating numerical bid content/estimates and generating Cost Models
Presentation of Cost Models to Sales and Operations
Supporting Review process to gain Sales and Operational approval in order to submit bids by the due date
Submitting Bid Approvals
Reviewing POs prior to booking by others, and subsequent handover to Operations
Supporting Field Sales Managers and generating proposals that support the sales strategy for that opportunity

The Successful Applicant

The successful Bid Manager will have the following skills and experience:

Experience working in commercial tendering, for a service provider, is preferred
Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong focus on Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Ability to handle and process spreadsheet data
Ability to work under pressure to tight timescales
Experience of commercial tendering
