About Our Client

A close knit small team and growing accountancy practice based in Bristol which has undergone ongoing, successful growth since inception acting for varied industry sector clients across wide ranging industries with largest clients up into the millions around the £5 - £6 million pound mark. Clients cover varied industry sector sole traders, partnerships and limited company, SMEs and OMB clients across construction, events management companies, professional services, retail and wide range of other sectors. The firm utlises IRIS and Xero as the main go to software. The role will be office based and whilst ideally looking for a full time addition, part time hours up to fours days a week can also work around the right candidates requirements.

Job Description

Joining as Bookkeeper, Man Accts, VAT and Payroll - Assistant/ Senior based in their Bristol offices you will be undertaking a highly varied role here providing all around services to the firms client base focused on bookkeeping, management accounts, VAT, payroll and along with involvement on year end accounts drafting up to trial balancel. You will carve a key position within this successful growing close knit team and firm with the potential for the right person to carve a key role here as key go to support to the firms directors, offering a long term career as the firm develops and grows in the future.

The Successful Applicant

For this Bookkeeper, Man Accts, VAT and Payroll - Assistant/ Senior role you could have a career background developed so far within accountancy practice, with anything from two to three years experience or considerably more, undertaking a varied role across bookkeeping, management accounts, VAT and ideally providing payroll services to a mixed client base. Any experience of year end accounts preparation would be useful but not a necessity as part of your background. Alternatively applicants coming from an industry background are also invited to apply should you bring all around and varied experience across bookkeeping, management accounts, VAT and ideally some payroll experience working for an SME or OMB limited company as a finance assistant, or assistant accountant within the finance function of a business. You may be AAT qualified, or have developed your career entirely through experience alone and you will be looking for a career move where you can act as key support to directors within a small, growing and successful firm of accountants.
