About Our Client

A fast growing Birmingham based firm of Chartered Accountants and Advisers who specialise in working with growing owner-managed businesses, sole traders and partnerships.

Job Description

  • Enter sales and purchase invoices.
  • Enter bank transactions.
  • Monthly reconciliation of bank, sales ledger, purchase ledger.
  • Complete VAT returns on Sage/Xero.
  • Prepare management accounts.

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience of working within a Practice environment.
  • A solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
  • Carry out VAT processing independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with relevant software - Ideally Xero.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Qualification in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
