Job Description

This role is an exciting opportunity to lead and launch Centrick's new building surveying service offering. Within the existing group infrastructure, this position offers the chance to create a service offering to compliment the needs of their clients and customers.

With control of over 500 property blocks & 20,000 individual properties all controlled by in- house property managers, the scope of projects is huge.

Centrick's vision is to deliver many of these projects from this team in a more efficient, value-added and cost effective manner.

Your role will be to create strong working relationships with the property managers and identify suitable projects, working with the external partners to deliver a highly professional offering to our customers.

The Successful Applicant

Centrick are seeking a commercially astute senior/director level building surveyor who can forge relationships with the current business partners to deliver projects in-house.

The successful candidate will have a track record of delivering a large programme of simultaneous projects, with a strategic mind comfortable with creating and delivering a growth plan.Key Points:

· Engender strong inter group relationships with other business divisions

· Comfortable with P&L management

· Create valuable products for the teams to utilise in our block management business

· Create/schedule/execute large programmes of works (multiple unrelated jobs on different & unrelated buildings)

· Understand or be familiar in managing a P&L

· Be commercially minded to value works and projects given volume, complexity and urgency

· Someone who can establish and run the business.

· Must have a Resi / BTR / block management background

· RICS qualified

· Comfortable with travel

· Able to build / manage a team in time

· Experience in contractor / consultancy management
