Job Description

As the market demands more thermally efficient homes and buildings there are increased opportunities for Moulded Foam products within the construction industry. Moulded Foams now seeks a Business Development & Partnerships Manager to build and create profitable relationships across multiple channels including Builders Merchants, DIY Sheds, Major Building and Plumbing Contractors, Housing, and Retro-fit customers.

  • Be the first point of contact for new potential customers from the construction market.
  • Respond to RFPs/tenders from the construction market
  • Research applications for EPS/EPP with the construction/HVAC industry
  • Proactively contact and visit potential customers
  • Key account manage and develop existing customers in the construction/HVAC markets
  • Attend relevant conferences/exhibitions/industry events.
  • Develop MFL's standing within the industry
  • Train staff and customers on the MFL construction industry products
  • Develop a coherent strategy to take MFL products to market.
  • Drive the marketing of the MFL construction products
  • Understand the market needs and anticipate future trends to feed back into MFL R&D/Product development.
  • Build a value selling case for the MFL products
  • Prepare forecasts for MFL sales and provide market information for longer term planning.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of identifying and developing new and existing partnerships specifically within the Construction and HVAC industry sector.

  • A result driven new business sales background who is organised and adept at working at a senior level
  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit with an eye for new opportunities.
  • History of relationship management across multiple industry channels and the ability to win project work through end user specification, contractors, and merchants.
  • Strong presentation skills and a confident communicator with senior internal and external stakeholders
  • Financially astute and fully accountable for delivering against agreed targets and strategic objectives.
  • A solution mindset with proven history of technical/value selling
  • Flexibility to travel UK wide with monthly site visits to Blackwood, South Wales.
