Job Description

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Building and managing a pipeline of net new business opportunities
  • Growing the revenue base across the entire software portfolio within your accounts via new business sales, cross selling and upselling
  • Leveraging a strong network of professional relationships across your account base
  • Building and sustaining an expert level of product knowledge
  • Exceed sales revenue targets and other critical success metrics
  • Accurate opportunity and revenue forecasting

The Successful Applicant

As a Business Development Manager, you will have:

  • A proven track record of success within a software sales or education sales environment
  • Experience hitting or exceeding challenging sales targets
  • A drive for results, while taking a win-win approach to negotiations to build long term commercial relationships.
  • An ability to absorb new information with ease and speed, and think analytically
  • A passion for customers, with an ability to anticipates changes in their current and future requirements
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to expertly demonstrate a range of software solutions.
  • Significant experience building, maintaining, and leveraging relationships across a range of senior stakeholders.
