Job Description

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for the identification, evaluation and execution of new business sales opportunities to drive growth across the UK.

Further responsibilities include:-

  • Building relationships with target base, incl. but not limited to local authorities, businesses and utility companies to help drive opportunities in providing EV charging solutions.
  • Building partnerships with installers to maximise sales.
  • Collaborate with the Product team in establishing and recommending the most realistic sales goals for the region.
  • Identify objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and margins
  • Follow-up of the sales pipeline on a daily basis and make sure all activities (call/mail/f2f) are tracked accordingly.
  • Report back to and collaborate with the Managing Director and Chief Marketing Officer on sales and marketing initiatives
  • Monitor and analyse EV charging solutions market developments

The Successful Applicant

The Business Development Manager will need to demonstrate the following:-

  • A proven track record in new business, direct sales and over performance in sales
  • C-level commercial, networking and negotiation skills
  • Relevant working experience within the sales and B2B market in the EV Charging Industry.
  • A self starter, driven, ambitious individual with a strong desire to make a difference.
  • Will be analytical in their approach and be able to work with multiple stakeholders at various levels.
  • Consistent track record working in a dynamic and collaborative environment
  • Be able travel to the head office in Staines however, this a national role so there is flexibility as to where the candidate can be based.



Your interest in sales, charging solutions and your entrepreneurial drive will enable you to significantly grow and scale sales for this organisation. Your understanding of charging solutions and energy management combined with your commercial know-how, shape how new and existing businesses grow.

Use of your effective communication skills will be of great importance as you will be the 'face' of the brand to a portfolio of clients whose needs you listen to, and help define the strategy for how their products and services can reach thousands or millions of users!
