About Our Client

You will be responsible for managing your vendors closely and ensuring availability of product at the lowest cost, alongside quality standards and on time delivery is achieved.
You will be responsible for maintaining and improving supplier performance and negotiating best value and competitive terms from our UK and international suppliers within your categories. Your vendors may be UK, European or Far East based and you will develop strong relationships to ensure the best possible results.
The Successful Applicant
This is a truly exciting opportunity for a Purchasing Assistant or Buyer with strong analytical capability and supplier/vendor management.
Experience within FMCG/Retail, alongside working with Far East suppliers and a high number of SKU's would be advantageous. You will be confident using Excel and Office, as well as ERP systems.
