Job Description

  • Overseeing and managing purchasing activities within the procurement and supply chain department.
  • Identifying and establishing relationships with key suppliers.
  • Negotiating contracts and agreements to ensure the best value.
  • Monitoring market trends and making informed buying decisions.
  • Ensuring all purchasing activities align with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborating with the supply chain team to maintain inventory levels.
  • Preparing and presenting detailed reports on procurement activities to senior management.
  • Participating in the continuous improvement of purchasing processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Buyer should have:

  • A solid background in procurement within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry.
  • Experience leading a team and managing supplier relationships.
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
