About Our Client
Retail client who are going through an exciting phase of growth in the UK
*Managing and maintaining the sample library - Ensuring samples are delivered and returned to suppliers on time and to critical dates for sign off deadlines, other key events
*Ensuring new suppliers are set up on all systems accurately
*Liaising with suppliers to resolve any issues regarding purchase orders, samples, delivery dates and other ad hoc requests
*Input key product information into back office systems
*Creating group purchase sheets and uploading into our intranet for store use.
*Creating barcodes for products as required
*Resolving scanning queries received from store
*Setting up promotions and assisting in the preparation of seasonal product catalogues
*Providing analytical reports where required
The Successful Applicant
The ideal person for this role will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and have great interpersonal skills and be able to build great relationships with colleagues, suppliers and other stakeholders. With previous experience of merchandising and supporting buying within a consumer goods retail environment, you will thrive in a busy environment and be comfortable managing multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
