Job Description
My London based financial services client is looking for a C++ Software Engineer (£850 per day) to engage in the following:
- Develop, evolve and industrialise global n-tier referential and market data services software and infrastructure (real-time storage and global distribution)
- Champion and Evolve DevOps
- In-hours, 3rd line development support of applications within team's remit
The Successful Applicant
To be considered for the C++ Software Engineer (£850 per day) role at my financial services client's site in London, the candidate must present evidence of the following:
- Expert C++
- Expert SQL
- Previous exposure to C#
- Have an engineering mindset able to quickly understand the technicalities of an application and enhance it with small and incremental safe advancements.
- Communicate technical ideas lucidly.
- A solid understanding of concurrency in application development.
- A robust methodology for debugging and profiling applications.
- Expert knowledge of large scale, low latency system design patterns and architecture.
- Highly motivated with strong analytical and problem solving skills.

- SQL Server OLTP and optimisation experience
