About Our Client
Large accountancy firm, London office.
As an Audit Manager in the Financial Services team of this large accountancy firm your assignments will primarily include Client Asset Assurance engagements under the FRC Client Assurance Standard and other statutory audit and assurance engagements delivered by the Audit team.
What you'll be doing
*you'll take day to day management responsibility for delivery of client assignments
*you'll effectively manage client expectations regarding fees, delivery and deadlines
*you'll play an active role in the FS Audit team, managing, mentoring, coaching and advising team members
*you'll participate in the presentation of conclusions and recommendations to the client and discusses the implications and action points
*you'll write high quality, professionally presented reports, requiring minimal input from senior managers, directors and partners
*you'll develop others, providing appropriate learning and development opportunities on CASS and interventions
*you'll keep abreast of relevant regulatory (particularly CASS) requirements and contribute to thought leadership
*you'll build a personal network from which leads could be generated
The Successful Applicant
Who we're looking for:
*you'll have experience of client facing work in relevant industry sectors
*you'll have previous experience of working in CASS either in auditing or operational level role
*you'll have good working knowledge of regulation, specifically Client Asset (CASS) sourcebook and FCA Handbook
*you'll have experience of developing and mentoring staff
*you'll ideally hold a professional accountancy qualification (ACA/CA/ACCA or equivalent)
*you'll have good working knowledge of MS Excel & Word, internet and email
