Job Description
- Responsible for the performance and development of the supply chain for the property category to ensure business objectives are achieved
- Responsible for ensuring a fully compliant procurement capability in respect to all relevant statutory, regulatory and internal business requirements for the assigned portfolio
- Responsible for the delivery of challenging performance objectives set for the assigned portfolio and ensuring an enduring and sustainable, continuously improving source of supply
- Develop and implement category strategy within indirects (everything non-property spend)
- Participate in the continuous development of the procurement processes, tools and systems to deliver the needs of the business and implement step-change improvements
The Successful Applicant
- Able to deliver values-driven service to your internal and external customers, by seeking to understand fully your customer's needs, identifying and working to remove pain points, and always delivering on expectations you set your stakeholders
- Must have an impressive track-record of developing and implementing best in class procurement performance across a variety of indirects such as technology/IT, professional services, hr or marketing
- Ability to influence and manage stakeholders to a senior level, challenging them when necessary, taking them on the procurement journey with you, in order to achieve a positive outcome
- Housing sector or other relevant industry experience a nice to have but not essential - must be adaptable if not
- Degree or CIPS qualified (or equivalent qualification)
