About Our Client

The client is a leading FMCG/retail organisation based in central London.

Job Description

  • Develop sourcing category plan for IT
  • Minimise risk within the category
  • Assist with other category development and procurement activities as required
  • Ensure all sourcing is in line with internal company policy
  • Challenge stakeholders to engage with procurement best practices, and supporting with their business needs when required
  • Build mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers
  • Contribute to overall success of procurement department

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience of running end to end procurement processes
  • Experience of developing and successfully implementing category strategy
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to think analytically
  • Working knowledge of contract terms
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Essential to have background in IT or technology sourcing
