Job Description

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategy for the technology area
  • Drive global savings initiatives in close cooperation with stakeholders
  • Manage and influence stakeholder relationships in order to maintain best procurement practice and deliver to their needs
  • Work closely with other Category Managers in order to support wider Procurement goals and strategy
  • Lead regional buyers and cross functional teams
  • Improve Procurement process
  • Manage contracts in life, ensuring they keep to KPI's

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree/MCIPS or equivalent qualification
  • A proven track record of procurement delivery with the big technology suppliers
  • Excellent negotiation skills driving significant savings and strong supplier relationships
  • Well organised and able to deliver regionally but also in line with global strategy - thus able to prioritise effectively
  • Strong communication and relationship building abilities
  • Problem solving mindset
