London Temporary £45,000 - £55,000 per year View Job Description
We're looking for an experienced Category Manager to join a housing association based in London or Manchester. This role is a 12-month maternity cover contract, reporting to the Category Lead, you'll play a key role in shaping and delivering category strategies across a diverse range of indirect corporate spend areas including HR, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Insurance, and Training.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement category strategies for indirect corporate spend.
  • Analyse spend data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Lead end-to-end procurement processes in line with compliance requirements.
  • Deliver savings and value through strategic sourcing and supplier management.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant legislation including Procurement Act 2023 and PCR 2015.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Category Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in end-to-end procurement within indirect categories.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex spend data.
  • Ideally from a public sector or broad procurement background.
  • Familiarity with UK procurement regulations and certified practitioner status.
