Job Description
As the Channel Account Manager, your responsibility will be:
- Develop a channel strategy that aligns to the overall company objectives and products
- Develop a partner program, which will support and progress partners
- Work with existing partners and develop new partners that will support growth and meet sales targets
- Work closely with each partner to ensure objectives are being met and exceeded
- Provide marketing support, training and education to partners as required, including workshops, events, etc
The Successful Applicant
As the Channel Account Manager, you will:
- Have a strong and proven track record within a channel role in the IT technology sector with knowledge in some areas such as rack-based products/solutions, including UPS, rack/row based Cooling, power distribution and IT Management
- Have channel sector knowledge working in sectors such as IT infrastructure, Electrical & Mechanical contractors, electrical distribution, SIs, VARs
- Have demonstrable sales background of meeting, and exceeding targets
- Have either had a technical education and/or worked within a technical sales channel environment
- Have strong communication and presentation skills
- Be flexible to travel as required across England and rest of the UK (remote working) such as Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, London and surrounding areas
